Not all diets are meant to follow long-term. Some of the ones that are not recommended are certain seven-day diets and other diet types similar to it. A Regular Diet The regular type of diet is one that usually involves all four of the major food groups plus a few extras. However, these types of diets usually only benefit a person to look good on the outside, but what is really lost besides fat is muscle tissue and water. Another problem with a large number of diets is that quite a few of them are not designed for a specific person in mind. Rather, they are one-size-fits-all types of diets. A diet should be tailored to an individual’s body build, health condition, and so forth.
Some temporary diets do have a benefit by way of cleansing, however. These would be certain juice diets, such a lemonade diet. Fruit and vegetable diets may benefit person for the short-term as well to help clean out the body’s digestive system.
Other Diet Types That Are Said To Be Ridiculous One of the other diet types that are seemingly peculiar is the blood type diet. This is one that most likely dose not have any supporting scientific evidence to back it up. It involves people of different blood types would follow different diet plans. Some people support diet types such as the blood type diet. However, even if it is true that this type of diet really does have some benefits it may require more scientific evidence before it would be more widely accepted. Some of the temporary diets mentioned earlier in this paragraph may not necessarily be supported by enough scientific evidence as well. It is important that people would carefully examine the type of diet they would consider following before committing to it.
